Flagstaff, Arizona — April 7, 2025 —The Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance (NAFSA), a national nonprofit dedicated to advancing Indigenous food systems and Tribal self-determination, has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a strategic planning consultant to guide the development of a new three-year plan.
After a period of rapid transformation and growth, NAFSA is seeking a qualified individual, team, or organization to lead a comprehensive, multi-phase strategic planning process. The selected consultant will work closely with NAFSA staff and the Leadership Council to co-create a plan that is actionable, scalable, and aligned with the organization’s mission and values. The RFP outlines a scope of work that includes organizational assessment, planning facilitation, and implementation support.
Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated experience in strategic planning for Indigenous communities or Tribal nonprofits, and who understand both the challenges and opportunities of working within culturally rooted, remote organizations.
